Mo's Tats and Stitches
Website: tgsbuford.locallygrown.net
Tatting is a traditional form of crafting lace by hand using crochet thread and shuttles. A few simple knots can be used to create intricate and complex designs. I learned to tat from my mother, who was taught by her grandmother. Tatting has become a nearly-lost art, and I hope to help support a resurgence in its popularity by introducing this art to others.
I personally hand-craft each heirloom-quality item offered here, including jewelry, bookmarks, ornaments, and household decor. I use only 100% cotton crochet thread, unless otherwise specified. Items are crafted in our smoke-free, pet-friendly home in Lawrenceville.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any question about any of my offered items, or about tatting in general.
Blessings,
Mo
